The UPS man/woman hooked it up quite nicely today. The package was oddly shaped and the shipping address made me look at it sideways. I decided not to waste any time wondering by gutting the hell out of the envelope. Let’s just say I got quite the surprise when I did away with the cardboard. Just When You Think You’re On A Roll…

You get tripped up like your boy Greg Oden. I ran into a bit of laziness last month. Then I had to deal with some stuff that took a toll on me. Now it’s AG baby. Or at least I’d like to believe so. These “sorry for not updating” posts are pretty lame but I truly apologize for making my page look like this. Continue reading ‘Just When You Think You’re On A Roll…’

I decided to see the Nets’ last preseason game against the Knicks at The Rock. The tickets were only ten bucks so I came through with my lil’ homey from Rutgers.
So, do the Nets fit in well with Newark? Continue reading ‘The NBA x Newark: Enjoy it While You Can’
I’m Not a Blake Griffin Fan But…

…you’d have to be stupid to try and block that halfheartedly. He doesn’t look like the smartest tool in the shed but he’s a pure athlete that can jump out the gym. Fake hustle never gets rewarded. I should know. I’ve been at it for over a year now. Continue reading ‘I’m Not a Blake Griffin Fan But…’
Thoughts on NBA Free Agency And Summer Trades (So Far…)

I’ve seen some suprising and groan inducing deals in my day. Still, this past week and a half has been rife with such moves. I’m not going to talk about every last trade and signing because, well, I just don’t want to. Instead I’ll talk about the ones that, to me, had the most impact.

I hate to see the season end like this. No, I’m not mad that the Lakers won. In fact I’m glad Kobe got a chip and I expect him to make a diss record at Shaq in the coming weeks.
But c’mon now, the finals were so garbage. It wrapped up in 5 games. One was interesting (game 2) the next best one was aggravating (game 4) and that’s it.
Was I REALLY in LA last week?

If so I still can’t believe it. I was really on the other side of the country for a good minute. I never went further west than Atlanta before that so it was a big move for me. Anyway E3 was crazy. I’m still detoxing from games so no Xbox or TF2 on my laptop for me until further notice. Anyway I got some flicks of the city after the break. Check it out.

For This

…and more hoodrat stuff that I haven’t planned yet. Anyway I leave tomorrow morning and I’ll be there until Saturday. I’ll be reppin’ TSS at the event so you know we’re gonna be doing big things out there. Keep it locked here just in case I deside to drop some dimes in the upcoming days.
Now lets get to the failures of the moment…

Dwight Howard, pictured, throws down 2 of his 12 points early in the game. Pic yanked from Yahoo Sports.
Final Score: 101-82
Big wins deserve big pictures.
The right team won. I say that because I picked Orlando to win and I was salty that Boston beat Chicago. Hedo was ballin’ with those ignorant ass J’s. If it wasn’t for him Skip would’ve shot them out of the game. Anyway Boston is out and justice is finally served in the league.

RIP Wayman Tisdale 1964-2009

I didn’t know much about Tisdale during his life except for two things. He used to play for the Suns and he used to be in NBA Jam. I used to hike on his name but other than that dude wasn’t really on my radar. I felt bad when I heard the news today about losing his life to cancer.
