This joint is pretty tight. For those that don’t know XV is a rapper obsessed about video games, girls, and being fly. So he’s kind of like Lupe (in concept) but he turns his love of games up to 11. This joint features the Fly Boy Club: his collective of rappers. I’m liking this beat, especially the bass. Hit the jump for the links.

He also has a mixtape called The Square In The Circle (click to download.) I think it dropped this summer. He’s even got a joint with Lil’ Wayne on there called “U Got It.” The mixtape is wild, he raps over fast techno-ish/dance tracks and a video game beat as well (nerd points go to whoever guess what song it is and what game it’s from.) This dude even rhymes over 1979 (old Smashing Pumpkins Joint, oh I bet you thought I wasn’t up on that) flips it on it’s head and calls the song “1997.” All I can say is dude is really on some other sh*t with his sound.
